FAQ

How Do I Start Planning?
Kid's parties can feel overwhelming, but they don't have to be! We have helped host hundreds of parties and have it narrowed down to 5 easy steps:

1. Decide Your Theme: Think about your child’s favorite character, story, or message.

2. Book Your Entertainment: Characters book quickly. Entertainment should come before venue!

3. Choose Your Venue: Consider space, crowd control, and the magical experience.

4. Use Our Free Invitations: Build excitement and set expectations with our themed invites.

5. Order a Cake, Snacks & Decor, Then Relax: We’ve got the magic handled — you just show up with your camera!
Do You Facepaint?
We do not offer traditional face painting. Instead, we offer glitter makeovers (like glitter bars!) and craft activities for visual keepsakes. Ask us about goodie bag add-ons too!
I Can't Wait to Surprise My Child with Her Favorite Character!
We get the excitement, but we STRONGLY recommend against surprising your child. Most kids need time to emotionally prepare for meeting their hero. A morning-of reveal works much better, and our invitations help build excitement without overwhelming them.
What is an Uncostumed Character Attendant? Do I Have to Have One?
Yes, and you’ll be glad you did. Our uncostumed attendants manage music, take photos, handle transitions, and ensure “character integrity” — so Elsa doesn’t have to fiddle with a phone. They’re a big part of what makes our experience smooth and stress-free for you.
When Should I Book?
We recommend booking 4–6 weeks in advance for best availability. 8 weeks is ideal, and we book up to 6 months out!
When Should the Princess Arrive?
We suggest the princess arrive 15–30 minutes after the official party start time to account for late arrivals and to maximize guest engagement. Use your judgment based on your guest list!
What Does the Princess Need When She Arrives?
Just space! A wide-open area for activities and room for gowns/skirts to move around comfortably. We handle the rest.
What Age is Best? Will Boys Be Engaged?
Ages 3–6 are ideal, but we tailor everything based on your child’s age. Boys (especially under 4) typically love the magic just as much — they want to be seen and included, and we make that happen.
Are You Insured / Background Checked?
Yes, all our performers are background checked and trained, many with educational experience. We’re fully insured and can add venues as “additionally insured” with 5+ business days’ notice.
Can We Change the Layout of Activities?
Totally! We’re flexible and child-led. Let us know your child’s interests so we can customize the flow and bring backup options.
What Other Activities Should I Plan?
Want face painting? Book a pro and ask us for recs! Avoid bounce houses during the character’s time — they’re loud, distracting, and can’t be entered by our performers. Deflating it during the visit works wonders.
Can Ariel Be a Mermaid at My Party?
Mermaid costumes are magical but impractical and risky. We use Ariel’s sparkling teal ballgown — the one seen in theme parks and most party supplies. Kids LOVE it. Want the tail version? Look out for special public events!
How Do You Accommodate Children with Special Needs?
We offer custom accommodations including reduced volume, no hugs, alternative games, or simply following your child’s lead. Just let us know at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll work with you to create a magical experience.
